How wjvo Keeps Gaming Safe for Filipino Players

Responsible gaming is not just a checkbox for us — it's built into every layer of the wjvo platform, from account registration to daily gameplay.

Strict 21+ Age Verification

Every wjvo account is subject to mandatory KYC verification before any deposit or withdrawal can be made. You must be at least 21 years old to play — consistent with PAGCOR's regulatory requirements for online gaming in the Philippines. We verify age through government-issued IDs including PhilSys, passport, and driver's license.

Deposit and Loss Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits and loss limits directly from your wjvo account settings. Once a limit is set, it takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit has a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period before it applies — this deliberate friction helps prevent impulsive decisions during a losing streak.

Session Time Limits and Reality Checks

Set a maximum session duration after which wjvo will automatically log you out. You can also enable reality check notifications — periodic on-screen reminders that show how long you've been playing and how much you've wagered, helping you stay aware of your time and spending in real time.

Self-Exclusion Program

If you feel your gaming is becoming a problem, wjvo's self-exclusion tool allows you to block access to your account for a set period — from 30 days up to permanent exclusion. During self-exclusion, all marketing communications are suspended, and attempts to create a new account will be blocked.

Problem Gambling Detection

wjvo's platform monitors for behavioral patterns that may indicate problem gambling — such as large sudden increases in deposit frequency, extended sessions, or rapid loss chasing. Where patterns are detected, our responsible gaming team may reach out proactively to check in and offer support resources.

Minor Protection and Parental Controls

wjvo strictly prohibits access by anyone under 21 years of age. If you share a device with younger family members, we strongly recommend enabling device-level parental controls or using a unique, secure password for your wjvo account. If you suspect a minor has accessed your account, contact support immediately.

Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone — from Makati professionals to students in Cebu, from OFW families in Davao to retirees in Quezon City. It doesn't discriminate. These warning signs are worth checking honestly.

Ask Yourself These Questions

Do you gamble with money meant for rent, groceries, bills, or your children's tuition ?
Do you find yourself spending more time or money gambling than you originally planned?
Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling but found it difficult or impossible?
Do you chase losses — betting more to try to win back money you've already lost?
Have family members, friends, or co-workers expressed concern about your gambling habits?
Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you are not gambling?
Have you borrowed money, sold belongings, or hidden financial transactions to fund gambling?
Do you think about gambling when you should be focused on work, school, or family?
If You Answered Yes to Two or More

Answering yes to two or more of these questions may indicate a developing or existing problem with gambling. You are not alone — help is available and confidential. Please reach out to the wjvo support team or contact a professional counseling service.

21+ Policy: No Exceptions

The minimum legal age to play on wjvo is 21 years old, in full compliance with PAGCOR's online gaming framework for the Philippines.

21+

You Must Be 21 or Older to Play

wjvo uses government-issued ID verification for every account. Providing false age information is a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may result in permanent account closure and forfeiture of all balances.

Zero Tolerance for Underage Access

Any account found to be held by a person under 21 years of age will be immediately and permanently closed. All funds in the account will be forfeited. wjvo actively monitors for age verification anomalies and cooperates fully with PAGCOR on underage access investigations.

Protect Younger Family Members

If younger siblings, children, or relatives have access to your device, always log out of your wjvo account when not in use. Enable your device's screen lock and never share your wjvo password. Set up separate user profiles on shared devices where possible.

Your Self-Exclusion and Limit-Setting Tools

All responsible gaming tools are available directly inside your wjvo account — no need to call support or wait. Changes take effect instantly (for restrictions) or after a mandatory review period (for limit increases).

1
Set a Deposit Limit

Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Deposit Limits. Choose daily, weekly, or monthly limits in Philippine Peso (₱). Your limit applies immediately. To increase it, there is a mandatory 7-day waiting period — this is intentional and cannot be waived.

2
Set a Loss Limit

A loss limit caps the total amount you can lose within a defined period. Once reached, wjvo will prevent further wagers until your limit period resets. This is one of the most effective tools for staying within your entertainment budget.

3
Enable Reality Check Notifications

Set a reminder interval (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes) and wjvo will display an on-screen notification showing your session duration, total wagered, and current balance. You can choose to continue or end your session at each reminder.

4
Set a Session Time Limit

Define the maximum number of hours you want to play in a single session. When the limit is reached, wjvo will automatically log you out. To play again, you must log back in — giving you a natural pause to reassess.

5
Take a Break (Cooling-Off Period)

Need a short break? A cooling-off period temporarily suspends your account for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this period, you cannot log in, deposit, or wager. All pending withdrawals will still be processed normally.

6
Self-Exclusion (Long-Term or Permanent)

If you need a longer break, self-exclusion blocks your account for a minimum of 6 months up to permanent closure. All marketing and promotional communications are stopped immediately. To request self-exclusion, go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion, or contact the wjvo support team via live chat.
